Born in 1940, he came to NRK in 1965 after they have spotted him running Pirat Radio. "Keep your enemies close". They never regret. It led to a long time relationship and Vidar came constantly up with excellent program consepts for radio and TV.

Now he is retired, but not more than he is burning for many things, like touring with his friend and arranger Philip Kruse spreading joy and entertainment to people. He is active in society especially for the elder people. He has already been elected
