Finn Kalvik is one of the most establised and popular performers of  Folk and soft pop. He writes most of his own material. His debut came in 1969 with the Finne meg sjæl, produced by Arve Sigvaldsen. The twosome came together again in 1988 producing Finn's successful album Livets Lyse Side. 

In between he was produced by Benny Andersson of ABBA at the same time ABBA went no 1 in US with "Dancing Queen". Later Finn was also produced by exclusive jazzproducer Manfred Eicher.
