Kristin Berglund started her career in the 70s as folk and blues singer. In 1978 she went to LA to record with producer Eirik "The Norwegian" Wangberg. They did 4 great tracks. The other tracks were finished in London with Tom Patrick Salisbury as the producer.

In the LA sessions the whole of Toto appeared. They had just formed the band and was rehearsing for their first album recording.

Back in Norway Kristin was honored at Notodden Bluesfestival in 2000. She became a regular with that festival until August 5, 2007. In October the same year she tragically died in a fire accident.

Long Distance Love is an amazing album, featuring some of the most skilled musicians in the world. Included in the digital release are alternate takes of the songs  Money Honey and It's all over now, both the whole of Toto in the studio.
